Orthopedic Physical Therapy

Orthopedic physical therapy involves the evaluation and treatment of the musculoskeletal system. This includes muscles, joints, tendons, ligaments and how they function in your body.
During the evaluation, your physical therapist will ask about the history of your symptoms, pain limitations, what makes them better or worse, and how the symptoms are limiting your daily life. After this, there will be an in depth physical evaluation of strength, range of motion, and functional movement. Your physical therapist will ask about your goals and create a plan to get you back to your normal function. As well as normal function with decreased pain. With this transition of care, our Exercise physiologist who is a Master’s level educated professional who will work with you to reach your goals and challenge you further.
